'Cascade' Hand Woven Wool Rug (White Weft)
A truly unique collection of woollen rugs, hand woven in my workshop near Ironbridge, Shropshire. Weft darned and fringes knotted entirely by hand by the weaver.
Woven from hard-wearing British wool yarn on a 75 year old handloom, these contemporary patterns were inspired by the waterfalls and tumbling streams that criss-cross the Ironbridge Gorge, only minutes' walk from the weaving shed, before joining the River Severn nearby.
Coming directly from the weaver, these rugs were woven with a different weft colour in each one, making each of them truly one of a kind. Real heirloom pieces.
Please note: As this rug is totally unique, there is only ONE available in these colours. (Please do not enter more than one in Quantity!)
