Knitting yarn spun from your own wool
I take great pride in spinning yarn in small batches from your own wool. I have 16 years experience of hand spinning. Production is intentionally slow, I endeavour to help traditional skills to thrive and maintain quality over quantity.
No order is too small. You have a pet flock of rare breed sheep? Great. One sheep? Absolutely fine. One long-haired dog? Yep, I've spun that! The yarns I can produce from your wool will depend on a few factors, but unless the fleeces are totally matted together or are so full of vegetable matter that they can't be cleaned, there's a very good chance it can be spun into a fine yarn. Perhaps there's a breed of sheep whose wool can't be spun, but I haven't found it yet. Curious about the process? Click the button below to find out more. Like the idea of having your wool spun on the last spinning jenny in commercial operation in the UK? Click below to learn more about it.
